Small ships are fantastic for a number of reasons, not the least of which is they can dock in small ports where larger ships can't! In Nice, as you can see from this photo, we were right in the heart of town. We debarked the ship, explored the town, experienced a wonderful food tour, wandered Castle Hill, then walked back to the ship.

Yes, the food was as amazing as advertised. There are plenty of options on board for vegans, vegetarians, and people like me who eat a little bit of everything as long as it is delicious! There are grab and go options which I enjoyed at breakfast - I love a good smoothie - and dinner in the restaurant was fantastic. On the last night I had this watermelon and prosciutto salad that I have vowed to duplicate at home. Windstar is truly a wonderful choice for foodies!
